In Context MultiMedia was born in 2008 while I was attending the SOBCon conference in Chicago. Attending this conference taught me the steps that I needed to take to stop "just blogging" and make a business of it. I met some of the most amazing people there, friendships and relationships that have grown into business partnerships and more.
The skills that I learned over the following year allowed me to break free of the corporate world, and earned an invitation to speak at the following year's conference. Brad Shorr and I gave a presentation on Search Engine Optimization for regular people, which was a big hit. It was so popular that we expanded the presentation and turned it into a multi-media study course (Writing for the Web).
The business focus is now targeted at teaching small businesses how to create an effective internet presence through blogging, e-mail marketing, and using a Social Media Strategy.
